Recent figures claim that August has seen the lowest number of properties coming onto the market for that month since the financial crisis of 2008 which in turn has led to increasing house prices in most areas of the country.
The August 2015 RICS UK Residential Market Survey comes to a similar conclusion. It believes that the growth in house prices is being boosted by a continued decrease in the number of new instructions alongside rising buyer demand.
